And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
~ John 3:14-15
Today we live in a world that is surrounded with FEAR and confusion. Every single day we are confronted with pressures and expectations from our government, work, friends, and even family.
The current social, economic, and health crisis is pushing many people to the point of despair, and
ALL HOPE SEEMS LOST!
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me TO PREACH THE GOSPEL to the poor; he hath sent me TO HEAL the brokenhearted, to preach DELIVERANCE to the captives, and RECOVERING OF SIGHT to the blind, to SET AT LIBERTY them that are bruised,
The ‘Church’ of our generation has forgotten that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He STILL wants to heal, provide for, and deliver people as he did 2000 years ago.
Come along and learn how you can find victory over…
But now hath he [Jesus] obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
~ Hebrews 8:6
There is a lot of confusion in the Church today as to the difference between the Old and New Covenant. While most Churches would state that we are under the new covenant, they don't actually understand what that means, nor what it entitles them too.
This leaves Christians confused and weak. AND provides no hope or reason to the non-christian as to WHY they should turn to God.
This is the FOUNDATION TO OUR VICTORY, and if we don't understand the Covenant, then we will never be able to inherit the promise. If we don't understand the Covenant, we have NOTHING to offer the world!
In this session, we will explore both the Old and the New covenants. We will learn both WHO they were between, and what the conditions were. Then we can truly discover how we fit into the NEW covenant and what the 'Better Promises' actually are.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
~ John 3:16-17
It's one of the most well known Bible verses out there, if not THE most well known one. But do we really, truly understand what it is actually saying?
Why the Cross?
The keys to the cross are found in the Covenant and as already stated, Session #1 is the foundation to everything else following.
In this session, we take a look at the reasons WHY Jesus went to the cross, and what was so significant about it. Why not a beheading like John the Baptist? Why not burning at the stake, feeding to lions, drowning or any other death.
WHY is it foolishness to the Greeks, and a stumbling block to the Jews, BUT the Power of God unto Salvation? (1 Corinthians 1:23-24)
PLUS, we begin to look and explore the word 'Saved' from verse 17, and how that means so much more than just going to Heaven. It is in fact the answer to our physical problems here on earth.
When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
~ Matthew 8:16-17
Although the Bible has so much to say about Jesus coming to heal the sick, the Church of today is almost unanimously persuaded that it is not for today. There are a variety of reasonings around this and terms used and created to argue the point. Unfortunately this leaves Christians struggling, sick, and weak. It also provides no hope for the Non-believers, but rather ads fuel to their fire as to the lack of relevance the Bible has for them.
But, what does the Bible say?
In this session we want to leave all the religious baggage and 'church traditions' at the door and explore the scriptures to see how it applies to us today. We will answer some of the following questions...
And most importantly, IF healing is what God wants for me, then HOW do I obtain it?
Come along to this session and discover some deep truths that most Christians 'wish' were real, but don't understand WHY they are not present in their own lives.
(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
~ Matthew 6:32-33
There is probably only 1 more topic more controversial than the previous session on health, and that is talking about finances and how they apply to the Church of today.
Unfortunately there has been a lot of debating, a lot of name calling and a LOT of mis-information around this topic by people on both ends of the spectrum.
God had a lot to say about money and physical provisions in the Old covenant. Jesus had a LOT to say in the Gospels. The Church had just as much to say in the New covenant letters... Clearly, money and physical provisions matter to God.
In this session, we want to take a look at God's view on finances and physical provisions.
By the end of this session, we hope you will truly understand what Jesus meant when he said that he had come to preach the 'Gospel to the poor'!
AND, if you are struggling financially, you will be able to rejoice that those days are now behind you as you will be equipped with the knowledge and truth to break free from that yoke of bondage.
And ye shall know the Truth, and the TRUTH shall set you FREE! (John 8:32)
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
~ Ephesians 6:13
God is such a loving God, that he gave us EVERYTHING we would need in this life to overcome and walk victoriously through every situation we would ever face.
No matter how challenging. No matter how difficult. No matter WHO, WHAT, WHEN or WHERE we face it...
This Armour is not just fancy words, or poetic symbolism but it's mighty and will withstand anything that is thrown at it. However most Christians walk around spiritually naked without any armour on and have no clue WHAT it actually is or how to apply it. They can quote the verse, but CAN'T PUT IT ON!
In this session, we take a look at the armour that God has supplied us to actually USE in this day and against our situations we face. We look at the weapons that He has provided us with. And most importantly we look at HOW to use them effectively so that we can actually come out as MORE than conquerors like Paul described in Romans 8:37
If you are Christian that is always struggling with whether you are actually saved, falling into temptations, depression, addictions or other difficult situations then you will NOT want to miss this session. If you are yet to make Jesus your Lord and Saviour, then this session will show you WHAT you need and WHY you need it!
That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
~ Ephesians 2:7-8
What is Faith?
Some people will use this word to describe Christianity, but still not actually understand what it is. They mix up Faith and Hope, and it blurs with believes, until it just becomes wishful thinking.
Others mix it up so much with 'New Age' that it becomes some sort of 'magic-wand' or secret power to manipulate and control things. Not too much different from 'the force' out of Star Wars. (In fact, we have even heard preachers use that analogy before...)
In this session, we explore the Biblical definition of Faith, and WHY in the previous session our major defence is the 'shield of Faith'. We will learn what Faith actually is, and why it is so important to receiving anything from God.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. ~ Hebrews 11:6
If it is impossible to please God without Faith, then we better get serious about this topic and learn what it means to 'Have Faith'!
Jesus said that faith as small as a mustard seed was all it would take to move mountains. He also said that these are the signs that follow them that 'believe' (from the same Greek word used for Faith)... They would cast out devils, speak with new tongues, take up serpents, be able to drink any deadly thing and not be hurt, lay hands on the sick and THEY SHALL RECOVER!
That's a great list to describe what someone of 'faith' should be like. If it doesn't describe you, then you should definitely come along to this session and listen close.
If you are already a born-again believer that has put your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour then that's fantastic!
You will be so blessed by the foundational principles you will learn at this Conference. Your faith will be strengthened and a fire kindled inside you just like the disciples who walked with Jesus and stated 'Didn't our hearts BURN within us as we walked and talked with Him...' (Luke 24:32)
If you have anything else on this weekend, now is the time to reschedule it so you can come along and be inspired and encouraged in standing on the promises of God.
If you have NEVER stepped foot inside a Church before, or perhaps you did and it just never did anything for you... Then that is GREAT!
We meet so many Christians who have a LOT of baggage from their Church experiences and sometimes this is holding them back from moving forwards!
So, don't stay away from this conference thinking it's not for you! The Bible holds the keys to success and the answers for ALL of life's problems. And, we want to prove it to you.
Come along and learn how you can find VICTORY over any situation in life through the person of Jesus Christ!
